Lee recently helped his client re-establish parental custody and unsupervised visitation of his children after disproving the mother’s allegation that he was an unstable parent. Premier Family Law Attorney Sheldon E. Lee successfully argued that his client was a fit parent following the results of a psychological evaluation.

“Custody and visitation can be very complex issues for parents,” said Attorney Lee. “It can be quite frustrating when one parent is disadvantaged by these issues. A complete understanding of the facts, parties and children involved is essential to successfully representing a parent facing such matters.”

According to the record from the San Bernardino courthouse, the client sought to re-establish custody and timeshare of his children after being employed overseas for two years. Attorney Lee’s client was also facing parental alienation from his former spouse. Furthermore, his client’s former spouse alleged that he was unstable due to unspecified psychological issues. As a result, Attorney Lee’s client had lost parental custody of his children and was subject to court-ordered supervised visitation.

Despite these alleged issues and an unfavorable recommendation from the court mediator, Attorney Lee committed himself to obtaining a favorable result for his client. After undergoing a psychological evaluation at Attorney Lee’s request, his client was not found to be suffering from any psychological symptoms. Attorney Lee utilized this mental health record to persuade the family law court that his client is an adequate parent who was falsely accused. Ultimately, the family law court judge ruled in favor of Attorney Lee’s client.

As a result of Attorney Lee’s thorough representation, his client regained parental custody and unsupervised visitation of his children.
